Privacy Notice on the Protection of Personal Data

Information on the personal data processed

This notice has been prepared by ODTÜ TEKNOKENT Yönetim A.Ş. as data controller, under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (KVKK).

Categories of processed personal data include identity information (name, surname, Turkish ID number, signature, title), contact information (email, telephone, address), financial information (bank account/IBAN, investment records, financial status), legal transaction information, transaction information, marketing information (with explicit consent), and digital data (IP address and access logs).

Collection method and legal basis

Your personal data is collected through fully or partially automated means, or through non-automated means that form part of a data filing system.

Data is processed to comply with legal obligations (CMB regulations, the Turkish Commercial Code, tax legislation and MASAK requirements), to establish and perform contracts, to maintain business continuity and security, to provide and improve services, to pursue legitimate interests, and to conduct marketing communications based on explicit consent.

Transfer of personal data

Where necessary, your personal data may be transferred domestically or internationally to regulatory bodies (including the CMB, Borsa İstanbul, Takasbank and MASAK), service providers, partner banks and third parties involved in investment processes.

The founder application, investor information request and mentor application forms are collected and stored on a platform operated by ClickUp (Mango Technologies, Inc. DBA ClickUp, San Diego, USA). What you submit through any of these forms is therefore transferred to that platform, and so abroad.

Retention period

Your personal data is retained for the statutory periods arising from applicable legislation following the end of the legal relationship, generally for ten years.

Your rights and how to apply

You may submit requests under Article 11 of the KVKK in writing, together with documents verifying your identity, to Mustafa Kemal Mahallesi, Dumlupınar Bulvarı, ODTÜ TEKNOKENT Bilişim İnovasyon Merkezi, No: 280/51, 06510 Çankaya/Ankara. Applications are finalised within 30 days at the latest.
